they are not releasing details of their next system (I could agree with you there) but they are merely saying they will stay with the 360 for longer. They are not revealing any secrets here. If MS said the earth was round would then presume it was flat?

is the 360 hardware still sh!t? I think your hating on the 360 for reasons that do not exist in the same way idiots hate on the ps3 for reasons that do not exist. All 3 consoles are brilliant and to despise computing electronics is a tad sad.

Yes square like the ps1 for certain technical reasons but it doesn't change the fact that sony sweetalked them into abandoning nintendo. A FF7 could have been made on the N64 but look what happened. That really wasn't multiplatform. However ps fans are still getting the new FF. If it became an xbox exclusive like what happened to nintendo then I could understand the sony fans complain...
everything that MS says should we presume the opposite? Thank you for letting the world know 'the truth.' Seeing as MS and sony are rivals they will be taking alot of notice of what the other does.
because the 360 and ps3 aren't going to finish up with equal sales just like they are now. No not at all. The ps3 will crush all!!!!!!!!! (except the wii). (so only really the 360) :)

My wii nearly died last week and my mates ps3 died 2 days ago with a disk drive error. Of course some jaspers will break but revisions that are inside the system specifically aim to reduce the causation of RROD. So if you ever plan to get an xbox then there is no better time really. And the 3 year warranty is nice insurance if it does crap out.
but if you get a jasper 360 you have very little to worry about now.:) Unless you plan on putting it in a sealed cabinet of course...
ok the cd drive in the ps1 made it an attractive option for cutscenes but graphically the N64 would have produced a much better game. It is obvious there was bribes coming in from sony's way just like they have recently been sweettalked by MS.
However the only difference is they are only going multiplatform now instead of completely jumping ship.
the way they have left Sony for MS reminds me perfectly of the way they left nintendo for sony in the mid 90's. Everything you can level against MS you'd have to level against sony with regards to the Square debacle. I support their move of FF13 because it gives more gamers a chance to play the game. What is wrong with that? Many so called gamers are far too selfish. Making main games multiplatform and hence increasing sales will surely help them survive too.
selling 25 million consoles a year, more than the competition combined. If nintendo are falling down the 360 and ps3 are already at the bottom of the pit.

it truly is the most fun game i've played this gen. And after seeing my whole family enjoy brain training and wii fit I really don't see the argument of those games not deserving to be up there. You dont like them fine but it doesn't mean they don't deserve to sell to people who would enjoy them. casuals are what bulked up the ps1 and ps2 markets and the reason why the ps3 is trailing and the wii is dominating is because the wii has got the casuals this generations. The ps systems had core franchises as well but so have nintendo with mario, metroid, zelda, pikmin, f-zero etc.
There some excellent games out there if you ignore need for speed! :)
as it will only be the wii ending up with a 70% share.
